I want to try to do more book tags on my blog, so please let me know what some of your favorites are in the comments! I found this one through Bibi.
Da Rules:
-Link to tag’s creator: Kourtni at Kourtni Reads
-Thank and link back to the person who tagged you.
-Answer the questions the best you can. If you don’t use NetGalley, you can substitute other sites or places where you get books!
-Tag a few people to do this too!
Questions:
1. AUTO-APPROVED: An author whose books you always read regardless of what they are about.
The first author who always comes to mind for this type of question is Victoria Schwab. I love all of her books no matter what age range, or genre they’re written for. You can read my review of her latest release City of Ghosts right now!
2. REQUEST: What makes you want to request a book on Netgalley?
I’m still pretty new to Netgalley, and I was shocked when I got my first approval so quickly. The books I requested at first were all titles I heard about a lot on Bookstagram. I’m mostly trying to request books from authors I already love, or with descriptions that sound really interesting to me. I am hoping to get approved for Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa.
3. FEEDBACK RATIO: Do you review every book you read? If not, how do you decide what books to review?
Currently, I plan to read and review every book I am approved for. I want to make an effort to only request books I have a genuine interest in, and also to be honest in my thoughts on the book. I think writing reviews that have a high probability of being seen by the publisher helps me to frame criticism in a constructive way.
4. BADGES: If you could create a Netgalley badge to display on your blog, what would it be?
I would love a badge for something like, “Conscientious Reader”. I hope to project an air of honesty and thoughtfulness in my reviews.
5. WISH FOR IT: A book that you are dying to read.
Shadow of the Fox is the main title I am interested in right now, and I’m also hoping to read Hunting Annabelle by Wendy Heard.
6. 2018 NETGALLEY CHALLENGE: What’s the last arc you received that you reviewed? If you have never received an arc, what book did you review last?
My last review was for City of Ghosts, I received that arc at Yallwest. My last netgalley review was for Umbertouched by Livia Blackbourne. One of those was a 5 star read, and one was a 3 star. You’ll have to read my posts and find out which is which. xD
I tag anyone who would like to be tagged! If you read this far, consider yourself tagged.
That’s a wrap on this tag! Let me know if you use Netgalley, Edelwiess, or any other online arc sources in the comments!
I’m so glad you did the tag, and I loved your answers 🙂
